This is an exhibition to reflect upon the many opportunities and pursuits by us, GDP Architects, over the course of the first thirty-five years—from 1990 until present-day—to contribute to various ‘canvasses’: spanning from the minuteness of a room, to the vastness of a country. It is a retrospection driven by a simple hope: to perhaps learn from the journey thus far, and to pave our way for the chapters to come.

The showcase not only takes on the spirit of GDP’s collective attitude towards design practice and thinking, but also includes the many personalities driving it. Needless to say, much like everything else we do, it takes a village. 

Through this undertaking, we celebrate the varied notable achievements of the group’s past endeavours right up to the recent completion of our new home, GDP Campus. By revisiting our roots and reflecting upon our journey thus far through this exhibition, we humbly invite you to take this window of opportunity with us to reconnect with the very words that describe us:
